Construction of the 5.56-kilometer San Miguel-Kalagonoy farm-to-market road (FMR) in Gingoog City amounting to P65-million is expected to start soon. A project of the Department of Agriculture’s Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP), the road is part of the city government of Gingoog’s Peace Road Program.
The formal groundbreaking was held in August 2017 and works will soon start once mobilization and proper clearances have been secured. The FMR is funded under PRDP’s Intensified Building Up of Infrastructure and Logistics for Development (I-BUILD) or infrastructure component.
