The newly-opened Coastal Road in Cagayan de Oro City provided a new spot for seaside strolling with a scenic view of the bay, something the city didn’t have before.
But with this development, police and local officials are also stepping up measures for the general safety of the public particularly at night due to the absence of street lights along the 4.46-kilometer stretch. Police mobile patrol as well as local tanods will be regularly deployed in the area.
As shown above, Brgy. Gusa has posted a billboard onsite stating that loitering in the area is prohibited from 10pm to 4:30am. Likewise, roadside drinking is not allowed and of course, throwing of garbage is a no-no.
