An employee of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Misamis Oriental was arrested by elements of the City Drug Enforcement Unit-Cagayan de Oro City Police Office yesterday noon, October 10, inside an inn along Aguinaldo Street in Cagayan de Oro City after allegedly being caught engaging in a pot session.

Reports state that Vergil Lago was nabbed inside the room with a woman who tipped the police of the ongoing pot session. The woman is said to be a confidential informant of the police. Sachet containing suspected shabu and other drug paraphernalia were recovered by the police who revealed that the suspect has been under surveillance for a month now for his alleged involvement in drugs.
