Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) is set to develop an initial 300-hectare mixed-use complex of its 526-hectare Special Economic Zone in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

In an article from Inquirer.net, ALI President Bernard Vincent Dy was quoted as stating that initial development is now ongoing and would accelerate in the first half of next year.

Accordingly, the 526-hectare estate located near Laguindingan Airport was already endorsed by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) to Malacañang in May this year.

It will be Ayala’s first industrial estate outside Luzon. Its initial venture is the Laguna Technopark straddling Sta. Rosa and Biñan in Laguna which caters to light industries and employing 100,000 workers.
