Religious tourism in Misamis Oriental is on the rise with the ongoing development of the Christ The King Shrine in Barangay Samay, Gingoog City. The religious complex will include a 60-foot statue of Christ The King.

The unveiling of the Christ the King landmark was held last week attended by Governor Yevgeny Emano, guests, city and local officials. You can see the under construction statue in the background.
