Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort will finally open in October. This was disclosed today by Engr. Elpie Paras of UC-1 Corporation, the developer of the much anticipated water-themed park located in Barra, Opol, Misamis Oriental.

In his special presentation during the 26th Mindanao Business Conference, Paras said they are currently completing the landscape areas and in the process of testing all the rides.

Engr. Paras said they initially planned the site as a wake boarding facility similar to CamSur but recent trips to water-themed parks around the world changed their plans.

The waterpark will be utilizing state-of-the-art entry system where visitors will be wearing RFID wristbands which you can use in buying food inside the park. Accordingly, it will be a cash-less system inside the complex. The park will have slides for all ages and will be PWD-friendly. There will also be a special pool for small kids having a depth of just 12 inches.

For one entrance fee, one will have unlimited number of slides and rides. Similar practice is being done in other theme parks around the world.
