Homegrown pioneering BPO firm SupportZebra has just added more work stations in its ever growing customer support center located at the former Graduate School Building of Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro City.
Formerly known as FBC Business Solutions, SupportZebra is now in its 6th year of operations which began in 2011 thru Kagay-anon cousins Nathan Yap and Niño Mae Duran, Imtiaz Khanji and Noelle Noreen Alcantar-Juarez. The company is actually a product of Kagay-anons living abroad investing in the city. From a humble 15 seats in 2011, the company has now expanded to 300 seats.
The firm’s history is well summed up on its wall at the reception lobby.
The latest expansion includes 150 more seats and as SupportZebra CEO Nathan Yap said, the firm is now looking to enter the big stage in the BPO industry. He added the city is getting there as a major BPO center.
What’s good with SupportZebra is that they treat you as part of the family. In fact, you’ll read the exact words of encouragement as you climb up the stairs leading to the office…who wouldn’t – friendships, real, second chances, fun, hugs, forgive, happiness, love. You’ll get psyche up positively as you go up the stairs.
The company’s CORE VALUES are clearly stated literally on its walls.
Because most of its clients are US-based, many of its customer care ambassadors (CCA) work night shifts. Still, a percentage of its workforce also work during the day.
SupportZebra’s success is attributed to how it conducts customer service.
Top performers are posted in the “DaSZle wall”.
By the way, spotted just outside SupportZebra’s office is this new company-owned prototype motorela, one of Cagayan de Oro’s iconic symbols. This innovative design also has a LED screen mounted inside for the passengers to view.
The formal blessing of the expansion site was preceded by a first Friday mass.
The blessing of the new expansion site followed.
More work stations means more sleeping quarters.
Happy faces all around…
Many lockers are found along the hallways.
This is the bridge which connects to another set of work stations.
Again, more lockers…
The blessing took place just in time for the golden hour.
The latest expansion came just six months after the inauguration of their Capitol University site.
Blessing of the new motorela and the new company vehicles then followed.
…trying out the SupportZebra motorela.
And by the way, SupportZebra is still hiring…
