An all-female composite team of 60 enlisted personnel of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and 40 non-commissioned officers of the Philippine National Police (PNP) has arrived at Laguindingan Airport today to help in the ongoing rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in Marawi City.
As posted by the Philippine Air Force in its official Facebook page, the female troops will be “facilitating psychosocial healing, peace-building as well as countering extremism.”
Accordingly, this government effort will be carried out in collaboration with relevant government agencies and non-government organizations, and different key stakeholders.
