Wonder where your favorite superheroes spend their time cooling off from the heat of the action? TALAKAG BONSETA’S FUN FUN RIDES might offer you an answer.
The newest attraction located along the Cagayan de Oro-Talakag-Lantapan Road in Barangay Salucot, Talakag, Bukidnon is a welcome respite for travelers with kids and also for those looking for a new site for a short adventure with scenic views and a playground full of ‘superheroes’ as shown in the photo below.
There’s even a minion…
Snow White was spotted too…and some of the seven dwarfs.
Children will love the playground.
Bonseta’s Fun Fun Rides is about an hour and a half drive from Cagayan de Oro City via Talakag town. The road is well-paved 2-lane concrete all throughout so accessibility is not a problem. It is also located along the highway so you won’t get lost. The landmark is this 24-Seven Convenience Store, literally…with all the colors and design of 7-Eleven.
Accordingly, the newest attraction is still on soft opening with only about half of the amenities available. Still, it is worth a visit especially with kids. Entrance fees are P50 (adults) and P20 (kids).
The site is not big but has many amenities and fun attractions in the pipeline but among those already available are the hanging bridge, motor train, a convenience store, ATV trail, a restaurant, view platforms and a playground for kids. Soon there will also be log cabin resort, off road routes and zip line. Below is the viewing deck overlooking the countryside.
Cottages are also available for P150.
Here’s the hanging bridge.
Talakag has a cool climate… fogs are common in the area especially in the afternoon. Bring a jacket. Below is the ATV trail. P500 for 2 rounds.
But just in case you’re hungry, they have a restaurant with two large motorbikes at the entrance.
Here’s the menu.
As shown below, it is just along the highway with roadside parking.
Here’s a map for your guidance. Travel time is more or less 2 hours from Cagayan de Oro. The major junction is the Ticalaan Crossing where the highway splits into two. Take the road going to Lantapan (turn left).
