A new economic zone is being proposed along the Alae-Phividec Bypass Road. Studies for the proposed 1,000-hectare Mantibugao Industrial Techno Park (MITPARK) located in Mantibugao, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon have been submitted to the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as a major step towards being proclaimed as an economic zone.
As shown in the images below posted by PEZA consultant Mr. Rodolfo Pancrudo, the proposed site has easy accessibility to the Mindanao International Container Port with the ongoing construction of the Alae-Phividec Bypass Road.
Here’s a shot of the Alae-Phividec Bypass Road which has now reached the boundary at Manolo Fortich.
Here are conceptual images of the proposed MIT Park created by MOHRI & P.A. Associates. As shown, development is divided into seven (7) zones. Zones 1, 2 and 3 will be the areas for factories. Zone 4 is intended for solar farm, Zone 5 will be for bonded products and Zone 6 is for the carton manufacturing area. Zone 7 will be developed as a tourism area.
