Manticao native Richard Talaroc joins Cagayan de Oro players JB Borlongan and Troy Limbo in the Philippine Under-22 squad currently competing in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Championship 2018 Qualifiers in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 19-23 July 2017.
The Philippines are bracketed with Japan, China PR, and host Cambodia in Group J. LINK
Talaroc currently plays for the Davao Aguilas FC while Borlongan and Limbo are with Kaya FC Makati B in the Philippine Football League. All three will be in the country’s football team for the 29th Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next month.
The Cambodia tournament will serve as the team’s final preparation for the SEA Games.
