The Maharlika (Marcos) Bridge is one of the most vital infrastructure in Cagayan de Oro City. Built during the 1970s, it is part of the National Highway connecting CM Recto Avenue in the east and Kauswagan Highway in the west.

In the past two decades, vehicular traffic in the bridge has significantly increased and very much evident during rush hour. Watch this short clip by Project LUPAD below taken from dusk to the evening rush hour.
