The Phividec Industrial Authority (PIA) is looking to collect some P2 billion worth of unpaid taxes from firms located inside the Phividec Industrial Estate.

This was disclosed by newly appointed Phividec Director former Cagayan de Oro Rep. Jose Benjamin “Benjo” Benaldo. Accordingly, some 80 firms led by Steag State Power, Inc., Mindanao International Container Terminal, Inc. (MICT) and Philippine Sinter Corp. need to settle their tax obligations otherwise, they will be asked to relocate.
