
Cagayan de Oro’s Troy Limbo and Jeremiah “JB” Borlongan made it to the final 20 slots for the under-22 Philippine Azkals team for the 2017 Southeast Asian Games set August 14-29 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In a report from Rappler.com, the youthful Limbo was identified as a player to watch with his experience in the English League Two club Chesterfield which should provide additional quality for the team. Meanwhile, Borlongan has been a consistent member of the young Azkals since 2013.
The football team will depart for Japan on July 6 for a week-long camp as they prepare for the upcoming SEA Games.
