Barangay Gwapo 2015 winner Luis Banaag III stars in his second Indie film Kamunggai (Malunggay) directed by Vic Acedillo, Jr. and is an entry to the 2nd ToFarm Film Festival set July 12-18, 2017. The film festival showcases the lives, journeys, aspirations, trials and tribulations – failures and successes of the farmers and other stewards of agriculture and nature.
The film Kamunggai tackles backyard farming and is set in Camiguin. See poster below.

Banaag first got into the limelight by winning ABS-CBN Northern Mindanao’s 2015 edition of Barangay Gwapo. See below.
Since then, he starred in his first Indie film Tu Pug Imatuy (The Right To Kill) directed by Arnel Barbarona.
