
A US spy plane has been spotted over Marawi City and a top military official has confirmed that the Philippine military has received technical assistance thru surveillance from the US military.
In a report from Associated Press, Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla was quoted as confirming the surveillance assistance after a US navy aircraft, a P3 Orion was seen by an Associated Press journalist and photographer hovering over the besieged city last Friday.
