Right-of-way issues have plagued the construction of the Cagayan de Oro Coastal Road from Puntod to Gusa.
More specifically, the subject property at Lapasan was the most-talked about issue a couple of weeks back. However, as shown in the latest project update, a lot more work lies ahead particularly in Puntod where more than a hundred houses will be affected. This section will serve as the link to the Puntod-Kauswagan Bridge and then to Brgy. Igpit in Opol, otherwise, the coastal road will not serve its purpose.
