Lawyer Ingemar Macarine’s never-say-die spirit showed today as he endured strong currents and rough waters in his “Swim for Peace” from Camiguin to Misamis Oriental and finished the open water swim more than the 12-kilometer distance he planned after he veered off course due to the strong currents.

The Pinoy Aquaman left Guinsiliban Port in Camiguin and reached the coastline in Misamis Oriental at Calamcam Beach in Talisayan town instead of the original target of Balingoan Port surviving 7 hours and 47 minutes and 23.51 kilometers swimming at sea. His feat will surely go down in the record books.
