Tomorrow, June 4, 2017, Atty. Ingemar “Pinoy Aquaman” Macarine will try to set a record 12-kilometer open water swim from Camiguin to Balingoan in Misamis Oriental. Macarine earned the monicker after several swimming feats.

Dubbed “Swim for Peace”, Macarine is dedicating this swim particularly to Marawi City. It will be his second attempt to cross the narrow section along the boundary of Bohol Sea and Macajalar Bay. In January this year, his planned 2-way swim between Camiguin and Misamis Oriental was cancelled due to bad weather. See our previous post last January below.

This time, Macarine is hoping for a good weather for his 12-kilometer unassisted swim from Guinsiliban Port in Camiguin to Balingoan Port in Misamis Oriental. Two escort boats will be provided. More info in his Facebook account below.
