Just to let you know, the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) are currently holding its 43rd Midyear Convention in Cagayan de Oro City at Limketkai Luxe Hotel. This year’s theme is “ISSUES AND DILEMMAS IN SURGICAL PRACTICE”.

Among the major topics in the 2-day convention include: Screening for Cancer, Evaluation of Anal Pain, The Ideal Clinic, The Informed Consent, Abdominal Pain in the Pediatric Patients, DOH Guidelines on Death Certificate, Limits of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Regulatory and Ethical Issues in Aesthetic Surgical Practice, Pre-Operative Evaluation of the Surgical Patient, Groin Pain, Evaluation of the Non-Healing Wound, Vascular Surgery 101, Occupational Health and Safety in the Practice of Surgery, and The General Surgeon Beyond His Surgical Limits, among others.

The PSC previously held its 35th Midyear Convention in CDO last 2009.
