In an article posted on its official website, Liceo de Cagayan University has announced that it will be utilizing Paseo del Rio as its third campus specifically for Senior High School.
Accordingly, Grades 11 & 12 will occupy the 3rd floor together with support amenities such as the library, laboratories, canteens and offices. The fourth floor is suitable for study lounges and cooperative learning discussion rooms, student commons and activity halls while the fifth floor will be used as a multi-purpose gym or civic center.
The first and second floors of the building will be used for indoor parking which can accommodate up to 300 cars.
It can be recalled that development of the 12-hectare Paseo del Rio was greatly affected after Typhoon Sendong ravaged the city’s riverside villages. But the main structure of the supposed Paseo Mall and Convention Center as well as 12 floors of the supposed riverside hotel have already been completed.
