Government authorities raided last Monday night a house reportedly owned by Supt. Maria Cristina Nobleza at Pine Hills Executive Homes in Casisang, Malaybalay City and seized guns, ammunition and several bomb-making components including a timer and dozens of blasting caps.
In a report by GMA News, the raiding team also arrested Al Mohammar Bayani and two minors who were inside the 2-storey house during the raid. All were from Baroy, Lanao del Norte.
Seized during the raid were one M16 rifle, seven magazines for M16 rifle, a cal. 45 pistol with one magazine loaded with seven cartridges, 218 cartridges for M16 rifle, and one bandoleer for M16 rifle. Further, the team also found one yellow timer to be used for improvised explosive device, bomb component/improvised explosive device, one set of soldering iron, 66 non-electric blasting caps, one piece 9 bolts battery, one piece tester, and assorted subversive documents allegedly pertaining terrorist activities.
Police were acting on information gathered in Bohol and secured a search warrant issued by Malaybalay Regional Trial Court Branch 9 Executive Judge Ma. Theresa Aban-Camannong.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group led the raid and backed by the military, Bukidnon police and National Intelligence Coordinating Agency.
Supt. Nobleza and her alleged lover Abu Sayyaf bomb expert Renier Lou Dongon were recently arrested by government forces manning a checkpoint in Clarin, Bohol. Both are now detained at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
