Reneer Lou Dongon, a suspect in the October 2012 bombing incident near Maxandrea Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City which killed 2 persons and wounded 2 police officers was caught in Bohol together with a policewoman, and a woman believed to be the mother-in-law of Abu Sayyaf terrorists.
In a report by NBDC News, Dongon was the driver of a black Nissan Navarra bearing plate number FGN 270 which sped past an army checkpoint in Clarin town in Bohol at the time when government forces were hunting down remnants of the Abu Sayyaf group. Also detained was Police Supt. Maria Christina Nobleza who is assigned as deputy director of PNP Crime Laboratory in Region 11 based in Davao City and allegedly Dongon’s lover. Also in the vehicle was an unnamed woman whose three daughters are married to Abu Sayyaf terrorists.
Found inside the vehicle were cellphones, bullets, sim cards, a first aid kit, food, clothes, energy drinks and other items which police believed will be used in rescuing the remnants of the bandit group.
