More than 30,000 people have so far trooped to Igbalalay Hills in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City to take part in the Panaad sa Guadalupe, a popular Holy Week pilgrimage site in the city.

The figure was gathered as of last night and is expected to increase today. Rescue and emergency units are scattered along the route which involves nine (9) river crossings. As posted in CDRRMD – Oro Rescue’s Facebook page, aside from the woman who was bitten by a snake, other incidents reported yesterday were two persons kicked by a horse and injury to a devotee caused by a sharp bamboo flitch.
