The Panaad sa Guadalupe is an annual religious tradition in the city during the Lenten Season with “Stations of the Cross” placed along the 4-kilometer route which includes nine (9) river crossings up to the Guadalupe Shrine. The Panaad route traverses thickly forested areas so presence of wild animals including snakes are not discounted. Those who do the ‘Panaad’ are advised to be cautious and keep themselves safe.
