Flag-carrier Philippine Airlines is set to start flights from Clark to Cagayan de Oro and back on June 23, 2017. This is based on its latest domestic flight schedule (LINK) as posted in its website.
In the said schedule, PAL will have four flights weekly (Monday-Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) serving the Clark-Cagayan de Oro-Clark route. PR 859 departs Clark at 6:30am and arrives at CDO (Laguindingan) at 8:10am or a travel time of 1 hour and 40 minutes. The return flight to Clark leaves at 8:50am. See below a screenshot of the flight schedule.
With this latest route, many travelers in Northern Mindanao will have additional travel options particularly if going to Luzon or have connecting flights abroad. The new route will also help decongest NAIA.
