Shore It Up, the multi-awarded corporate social responsibility (CSR) program of the Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC) starts today its marine environmental campaign in Medina, Misamis Oriental.
Based on a news article from Business Mirror, the ‘Shore It Up’ activities in Medina will include underwater assessment of the marine-protected area (MPA) in the province, underwater and coastal cleanups and tawike (whale shark) monitoring. The activities conclude on Sunday. Shore It Up is part of MPIC’s campaign to help rehabilitate precious marine resources in the country.
