Construction of the new P276.7 million passenger terminal building at the Port of Cagayan de Oro is now underway.

As shown below, heavy equipment are already onsite next to the old and current terminal.

The ground breaking and capsule laying was held in September last year.

Jejor’s Construction Corp. is the project contractor. See Notice to Proceed below issued in June 2016.

The initial project cost amounted to P350 million but after the official bidding, the contract price is now P276.7 million. See screenshot of contract below.

Previous press releases state that the new and modern passenger terminal building will be a state-of-the-art and fully air-conditioned facility with a walkalator.
