PAG-ASA raises rainfall warning level to ORANGE over MisOr as of 9:40am, February 16, 2017




As rains persist in the province, weather bureau PAG-ASA has raised the Heavy Rainfall Warning Level to ORANGE. This is based in its latest advisory issued at 9:40am, February 16, 2017.

*SERIOUS FLOODING is expected in low-lying areas and LANDSLIDES in mountainous areas.
ORANGE WARNING LEVEL:
#MisamisOriental, #Camiguin, #Bukidnon, #LanaodelNorte, #LanaodelSur, #AgusandelNorte, #SurigaodelNorte, #DinagatIslands, #Sarangani, #GeneralSantosCity, #CotabatoCity, #SouthCotabato, #NorthCotabato, #Maguindanao, and #SultanKudarat.
FLOODING IS ALARMING. Flooding in other areas. Possible landslides.
YELLOW WARNING LEVEL:
#ZamboangaPeninsula, #MisamisOccidental, #Basilan, #Sulu and #Tawi-tawi
FLOODING is Possible. Flooding in low-lying areas specially along river channels.
•The public and the disaster risk reduction and management council concerned are advised to MONITOR the weather condition and watch for the next advisory to be issued at 12:40 PM today or any auxiliary advisory if there are significant changes in the weather conditions.
