Retired SPO1 Reynaldo dela Victoria has just been sentenced to life in prison in a drug-related case.
In a news report by Bombo Radyo, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 25 Presiding Judge Arthur Abudiente handed the decision on the former police officer who was arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) during a drug bust in a motel in 2014. (LINK)
Dela Victoria was once a member of the now defunct Intelligence Special Operations Group (ISOG), an elite police unit during the 1990s led by the late former Supt. Eleuterio “Dodong” Amora which was known in crime fighting.
He was also named by President Rodrigo Duterte as among the retired policemen involved in the drug trade.
