The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) recently turned over two new Community Fish Landing Centers (CFLCs) in two fishing communities in the province of Misamis Oriental.

Each CFLC has eight fish stalls, two chest freezers and some bonus fishing equipment in the form of engines and bottom-set gillnets. The projects aims to boost fish production in Northern Mindanao and minimize fishers’ post-harvest losses.
