Young ballers from Corpus Christi, XU, MOGCHS, City Central School make it to Jr. NBA Manila

Seven boys and five girls comprise the twelve young aspiring basketball players who have been chosen to represent Mindanao to the Jr. NBA Philippines National Training Camp set May 12-14 in Manila.

They were part of the record 1,479 who showed up in the Alaska Cagayan de Oro Regional Selection Camp at Xavier University February 11-12.

The twelve who excelled during the camp are as follows:

Boys Division:

  1. Jezreel Aton, 13, Bethel Baptist Christian Academy of Malaybalay City
  2. Khen Caduyac, 13, Corpus Cristi School of Cagayan de Oro City
  3. Stephen Jebson Garcia, 13, Corpus Cristi School of Cagayan de Oro City
  4. John Anthony Melgozo, 14, Bukidnon National High School of Malaybalay City
  5. Jerald Orestes, 13, Bukidnon National High School of Malaybalay City
  6. Geo Ramos, 13, Xavier University of Cagayan de Oro City
  7. Maverick John Vieto, 13, San Isidro College of Malaybalay City

Girls Division:

  1. Louise Veronica Agad, 12, Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS)
  2. Pauline Angelique Valle, 12, Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS)
  3. September Star Padla, 13, Bukidnon State University of Malaybalay City
  4. Giordana Tagarda, 10, City Central School of Cagayan de Oro City
  5. Ella Rae Amulato, 12, Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS)

The Jr. NBA Philippines Regional Selection Camp was led by Jr. NBA Coach Craig Brown.
