In its latest Heavy Rainfall Advisory issued at 1:00pm, January 19, 2017, weather bureau PAG-ASA has raised the ORANGE WARNING LEVEL over Misamis Oriental and several other areas in Mindanao as bad weather and heavy rainfall continues to be observed in the area.

This also means flooding is already threatening in low-lying areas. Meanwhile, Bukidnon was placed under RED warning level which means the water level in rivers in Misamis Oriental with headwaters originating in Bukidnon are expected to rise. Read full advisory below.
