JR Cawaling, whose brother passed away a day before the game, came off the bench to score 11 points including 3 of 7 from long distance to lead Alab Pilipinas over the defending ABL champions Westsports Malaysia Dragons, 65-54 in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

It was Cawaling’s best game with Alab Pilipinas and earned him best player honors. He travelled with team to Malaysia despite the death of his brother Jared due to an enlarged heart. LINK
