Members of Cagayan de Oro City Police Station 5 (Agora) together with personnel from the City Social Welfare and Development office (CSWD) recently rescued 13 minors in an internet shop along Osmeña Extension for engaging in online gaming operations, specifically playing the popular online game Defense of the Ancients (DotA) in exchange for money.

Accordingly the teens aged 14 to 17 are students of Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School (MOGCHS) and City Central School and are reportedly already negotiating online with foreign players to play the said game for money.
