We don’t really remember when the traffic lights at the intersection of CM Recto and Corrales Avenues in Cagayan de Oro City were last functioning.
For a long time, traffic aides were directing traffic at the said junction considered one of the city’s busiest. As motorists usually say, having traffic aides manning the intersection often times result to longer lines of vehicles. This changed last week as the traffic lights were surprisingly up and operating again.
Traffic personnel were still present though along the sides monitoring the situation. Hopefully, the traffic lights will last longer this time.
