Cellphone users will have to wait three to four hours before they can call, text or browse the net as government authorities will be turning off cellular phone signals during the Traslacion or procession of the Black Nazarene early tomorrow in Cagayan de Oro City.

Flying of drones is also strictly prohibited so we may not see aerial drone shots of the religious event. The duration of the prohibition will begin at around 4:00AM up to the end of the procession or an estimated three hours. In addition, fireworks will also be banned in the city so as not to alarm the public. Some 800 members of the police and armed forces will be deployed throughout the procession which is considered one of the biggest religious event in the city. Organizers are expecting an estimate 250,000 devotees to participate in the procession.

Because of TD Auring, a rainy Traslacion is expected.
