Bumper-to-bumper traffic along CM Recto Avenue has been a daily experience in Cagayan de Oro City.
These photos courtesy of Vader Michael shows the length of the traffic starting from CM Recto-Corrales Junction and extending towards Maharlika Bridge. This route usually takes around 10 minutes on a normal traffic. But in this situation, you’ll have to spend at least 30 minutes on this stretch.
If you’re familiar with the daily morning news, this scene is usually similar to the traffic report on EDSA in Metro Manila.
And with the Christmas shopping rush, motorists see no end of this traffic nightmare.
