‘Pinoy Aquaman’ set to swim from Camiguin to Balingoan in January 2017


Ingemar Macarine, known as the ‘Pinoy Aquaman” is set to cross the narrow section of Bohol Sea between Camiguin and Misamis Oriental in January next year. Macarine, who is a lawyer by profession, earned the monicker after several swimming feats. The shortest distance between Camiguin and Misamis Oriental is approximately 10 kilometers. It’s more or less 17 kilometers if you depart from the port at Benoni in Camiguin to Balingoan Port in Misamis Oriental province.

    Im swimmer but i dont trust myself to break a record at that far and that place i think he have 50/50 to get to his destination swim with sharks and boats passing by and a kilometers far ohh noo
