Cagayan de Oro-born Milan ‘El Metodico’ Melindo captured the IBF Interim World Light Flyweight title with a unanimous decision victory over Thailand’s Fahlan Sakkreerin at the main event of ‘Pinoy Pride 39: Road to Redemption’ in Cebu City last night.

Meanwhile, the Pagara brothers also emerged victorious in the undercard. Jason Pagara made short work of former world champion Jose Alfaro of Nicaragua with a first round knockout. Albert Pagara on the other hand beat tough Raymond Commey of Ghana over 10 rounds in his comeback fight since losing to Mexico’s Cesar Juarez in July this year.
