There are lot of queries on how to go to Hugo Skye Lounge in Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City. Many are asking if cars can reach the site.

Now, this is the only road entering the property from the main road at Indahag proper. Note that the road is wide and well maintained.
Moving forward, the road starts to turn right for a slight descent.
This section is newly compacted with gravel.

There isn’t much mud because it’s mostly a limestone road.
Since the there are many construction work in the whole area known as Sierra del Oro, you may meet some of the trucks.
The road makes a slight ascent.
Again, at this point, any car as long as it’s in good condition can easily make it.
This ascent goes on for another 100 meters.
Then it makes a slight turn to the left.
Then another descent. See the warning sign – SLOW DOWN. It’s because there’s a blind curve ahead.
The curve starts at the bamboo.
From the bamboo point, you’ll see this wide clearing area.
You can see the road opening undertaken which cut a portion of the hill.
Then another slight ascent.
Ahead, you’ll see a new road construction.
The signage of Hugo is seen (go up left). The new road opening at right (descent) will connect it to the Cagayan de Oro South Diversion Road in Taguanao.
You’re now approaching the final ascent to Hugo. See the signage. Also, there’s a large advisory: SHIFT TO FIRST GEAR LOOSE GRAVEL AHEAD.
If your vehicle is a 4-wheel drive, you can use 2nd gear. Otherwise, shift to 1st gear as advised. However, the loose gravel could already be compacted in the coming days or weeks.
The ascent won’t be a problem. The road is wide with no steep cliffs on the sides.
Up ahead, there’s a security check.
You can see some heavy equipment onsite.
After the security check, you’re on your way to Hugo already.
Drainage works are still ongoing.

This is now the final approach.
Up ahead is the motorpool for heavy equipment.
Turn right and you’ll see the parking area of Hugo Skye Lounge.
Make sure to use the hand brake when parking.
