Cagayan de Oro to host three WBO regional title fights on October 28




Cagayan de Oro City will host a major boxing event next week featuring three title fights dubbed “Normin Glory 8”. The main event will feature former amateur standout and now reigning World Boxing Organization (WBO) Asia-Pacific mini-flyweight Champion Vic “Vicious” Saludar (12-2, 9 KOs) defending his title against upcoming Jimboy “Silencer” Haya (9-2, 6 KOs) of Cebu on October 28, 2016 at the Bulua Covered Court in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro City.

In the main supporting event, unbeaten Robert Paradero of Malaybalay City (12-0, 8 KOs) and Ronie Tanallon of General Santos City (9-2-1, 2 KOs) will battle for the vacant WBO Asia Pacific Youth minimumweight title.

In a special attraction, Thailand’s undefeated Rakhoran Muadransarakam (12-0, 8 KOs) will defend his interim WBO Asia Pacific super flyweight title against Japan’s Shota Kawaguchi (19-7-1, 8 KOs).
