Over 30 franchise brands take the center stage of “Franchising Negosyo para sa CDO” today at the Centrio Mall Activity Center, Cagayan de Oro City. Organized by the Philippine Franchise Association (PFA), the pioneer and the only internationally-recognized franchise association in the country, the Franchising Negosyo is part of the organization’s regional show which aims to promote franchising as an effective entrepreneurial tool.

“In franchising, you are not on your own managing the business. The franchisor and the franchisee work together to grow the business,” said PFA President and CEO of Fruit Magic Alan Escalona. “This model is used by several business owners as an expansion tool and by people who want to venture into entrepreneurship.”

“Franchising an existing business has 90% success rate as compared to starting your own business. Because startup entrepreneurs get to use and manage an already successful brand. It is also a proven tool for rapid business expansion. With franchising, you can open several branches within a year and this show will help people explore the different aspects of franchising,” PFA Vice Chairman and Francorp CEO Bing Sibal-Limjoco added.
