MEOW RESTO, located along Fernandez Street near FICCO Main Bldg in downtown Cagayan de Oro City, is just what every cat lover wants – having time to play with cats, and of course eating good food.
Meow Resto is the first cat-themed restaurant in Mindanao which opened in mid-September. From the outside, you’ll know the owners are definitely fond of cats…
…and the main staircase have “cats” on the wall…
Once inside, the “catmosphere” is pretty obvious.
Lets take a look at their menu…you may have noticed names like Ellise, Fox, Gracey, Donny, Bloo, Ashy, Clay…they’re actually names of the owner’s cats.
And you can find their “profile pics” on the picture frames mounted on the wall. They now have eleven (11) cats but only 10 have their photos as of now. The last one can’t make up what “pic to post”.
…in case you love reading, they have some “cat mags”.
They also have decors…again about cats.
They are also open for small functions like meeting or special occasion. Here’s the room.
Once inside, the trend is that you’ll need to have a selfie…
By the way, they don’t have WiFi…they encourage personal interaction…
Speaking of interaction, you can play with the cats in their Cat Zone.
For P20, you can experience a 10-minute playtime with the cats…of course, there are strict policies inside… and STRICTLY — NO BRINGING OF CATS from outside…
Hygiene is very important…they don’t want you and their cats getting ill.
The cat room is fully air-conditioned… carpeted and has a “poop” station at one corner. Yes, they are all toilet trained.
Sometimes, the cats play with each other…
How many cats can you find?
Trying out one of Kitty’s Kryptonite…they’re so-called because they’re not good for cats.
…even the apron has a “cat mark”…
The owners also make cakes…and the edible cake décors are also inspired by cats…
Those who have been to the place have posted good messages for the place…
Spotted a pet dog … a new adoption. It’s a cat’s house so he has to sleep outside the cat zone…
Meow Resto is open 6 days a week. Here’s the schedule below.
