  3. Cagayan de Oro-Laguindingan Highway (Expansion has been ongoing)
  4. Iligan-Cagayan de Oro-Bukidnon Lateral Highway (Ongoing project in the hinterlands)
  5. Mapawa-FS-Catanico Road

Meanwhile, San Juan also announced that in the pipeline is the JR Borja Extension Road project as well as the Puerto-Claveria bypass Road, the Puerto-Carmen Hill Diversion Road and a road connecting Barangays Dansolihon and Tignapoloan, the city’s most remote villages.

The JR Borja Extension Road project is the most anticipated as it will provide a parallel highway to the existing national highway. We have sources which state survey of this road project had already been conducted and we’ll know for sure when the project finally takes off.

This is a good projects for a highly urbanized city. But I think the Jr. borja extension is most anticipated and most needed today, as the worsening traffic condition of the eastern portion of the city is giving headaches to motorist ’till late in the evening. Emergency power for traffic is badly needed in this country.

Yes, its true. Cagayan traffic is worsening day by day. I hope, buena-oro Macasandig flying mandumol to toma saco road should not be the lone road connecting the diversion road in taguanao. Maybe another road should be established to ease traffic along this route.
