From the same group that brought you Bigby’s Café & Restaurant, Missy Bon Bon, Frozen Factory, and the Nest, Bigby’s Quality Food Corporation takes things to the next level by successfully opening a new branch of its proudly Filipino-themed grill house, Boy Zugba – Kusina Bisaya, in Centrio – Ayala Mall.

Boy Zugba opened its first branch in Corrales Avenue last February 8, 2015 proposing a modern and casual counterpoint to traditional Kagay-anon home-cooked meals. Boy Zugba’s extensive menu is a reconciliation of past and present home-cooking and Filipino street food, continuously catering every Filipino’s taste buds with premium food selection and caliber customer service. Food is intended for sharing and is characterized by a familiaruty of flavors and the memories they bring back.

Its menu is a sure crowd pleaser, full of things people really love to eat, with choices ranging from an array of grilled food items, as well as meals that we normally see in karenderias or eat at home, which are wittingly dubbed with Bisaya names such as Pisbol sa Corrales, Pansit sa Pulis, and Sinuglaw de Cagayan – true to its form as a proudly Kusina Bisaya food joint. This year, along with its opening of its latest branch is the launching of its new and innovative line of dishes such as the Buko Pancit, Chika Chicharon, Binaki, Bistek Bisdak, Na-uyapan na Baboy and so much more unique and delectable Pinoy favorites with a twist that everyone would surely love another crowd favorite to expect in Boy Zugba’s newest home is everyone’s all-time favorite the Cheezzy Chorizo.

The new restaurant’s takes inspiration from its first branch that has the feel of a karenderia, but with a modern twist showing its personality as a down-to-earth food destination. Like the food, the new dining space is tastefully decorated with local materials that are mix of old and new.

The best thing about Boy Zugba’s grand opening this September 18 is that everybody’s invited! Boy Zugba is now conveniently accessible as your go-to Kusina Bisaya after-office or barkada hangouts and reunions; it has now evolved as your family-friendly, craving-solver restaurant.

Expect it to be packed with large groups of families and friends. The atmosphere is laid back, the food is comfortable and good, and the prices are affordable. What more can you ask for?
