With Cagayan de Oro City’s BPO industry now picking up, a 4-storey building with 2 basements will rise at the forming parking lot across Robinsons at Limketkai Center. Officially called Limketkai Mall Module-2 BPO & Cyberpark Building, the project has just been endorsed by the City Council through Ordinance No. 12408-2016 for its application with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) as an Information Technology (IT) Center and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Building (LINK).

It was initially thought that the ongoing construction work at the site was a carpark building (Read LINK). But a new development at Limketkai Gateway Park beside Puregold together with the pulling out of heavy equipment spurred rumors that Limketkai is building something more than just a parking building until the said project was revealed during the deliberations at the City Council.

As per information indicated from the website of CBRE Philippines (LINK), the building will have a gross leasable area of 10,631.10 sqm., a food plaza at the 2nd floor podium; 3-level parking for 334 cars and 206 motorcycles. It is targeted for completion in the 3rd quarter of 2018.

Keep posted.
