Do you know that Cagayan de Oro City already has an aviation school?
Well, you might have noticed this single engine aircraft parked at the driveway of Acatech Aviation College along Valenzuela (Agora) Road as shown below.
The last time you might seen a real aircraft of sort in the downtown area was that of P’Joe’s Diner in the old Rosario Arcade at Limketkai Center. Now, this new school is offering 2-year technical courses as follows:
- 2 year diploma Course in Aircraft Maintenance Technology
- 2 year diploma Course in Aviation Electronics Technology
Based on the courses offered, it does not need a runway or an airport … all it needs is a real aircraft to work on.
As posted onsite, classes start July 11. Certainly, graduates will find work in airports and air bases around the world.
