RANDOM SHOTS: Sagpulon Falls – Jasaan’s hidden gem

Sagpulon Falls in the town of Jasaan is one of Misamis Oriental’s major tourist destinations.

The beauty of the falls together with its cool waters has long been a favorite among local tourists and because of its huge tourism potential, the provincial government has identified it as among its tourism sites to promote. Surrounded by virgin forests, the falls drop 45-meters cascading along the mossy rocky cliff and into the natural pool.

Located some 6.5 kilometers from the highway, Sagpulon Falls is in Barangay San Isidro and is very accessible with a much improved 2-lane concrete road. Estimated travel time from the highway is 20-30 minutes. A short hike from the end of the road leads to the falls.
