Remember Kerneil “Kino” Baranda Balaga, a graduate of Xavier University and now an instructor of said university in Cagayan de Oro City whose teaching poor children in the city’s streets is his simple act of charity (Read LINK)? His story will be finally featured this Sunday via GMA News TV’s top-rated reality documentary program REEL TIME (Channel 25 in Parasat Cable TV).

It all began after Kino’s charity work was caught on a photo by Cath Libarnes-Bagayna (see below) which became viral in social media. The photo showed Kino wrapping up his things after an evening session with street kids.

The award-winning show takes an unfiltered look at the lives of real people and real stories. In 2013, it won the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award, considered to be the Pulitzer Prize for television. REEL TIME airs every Sunday, at 9:00pm on GMA News TV.
